The Astronomy Club of Asheville brings many events throughout the year to the public for free. There are guest speakers, community stargazes, and outreach events at local schools and community groups. Proceeds from the sale of these items will help us to continue to bring the wonders of the night sky to the Asheville community.

Explore Scientific Refractor Telescope ($299)
The Explore Scientific AR127 is a popular 127mm (5-inch) f/6.5 achromatic refractor known for delivering surprisingly good views of planets and deep-sky objects. Includes a finder scope.
Celestron NexStar 4SE SCT telescope ($199)
Celestron NexStar 4SE SCT telescope is on a manually operated GE mount and includes an eyepiece and red dot finder. Enjoy using this great beginner telescope for viewing some of the larger objects in the nighttime sky.

Orion 80mm f/5 refractor telescope has focal length 400mm and comes with a finder scope and tripod.
Celestron 8” SCT telescope ($499) SOLD
Celestron 8” SCT f/10 on a GE mount has a 2000mm focal length. This telescope package includes everything you need to go out and enjoy the nighttime sky. It can be operated off a 12 volt battery or 110 volt power supply. It has a red dot finder, one eyepiece and dew shield. It has a hand controller that can guide the telescope to any object of your choice.
