Feature presentation: "Meteorites and Space Rocks"
Presented by Jim Lamm, past president of the Charlotte Amateur Astronomers Club.
"Meteorites and Space Rocks" will give the audience a basic overview of the amazing world of meteorites -- from the many different types of meteorites, and where they come from, to interesting stories about how they arrived on Earth. The presenter will have meteorites on hand not only for the audience to see, but to also handle. How often do you get to actually hold a piece of the Universe in your hand? Come, and you'll be one of the lucky few who have ever been able to do so.
